Laparoscopic

Active Type

ASFN3 / ASF3 / ASFTO3

Effectively removes all surgical smoke plumes during laparoscopic procedures. The Active Type attaches to a standard trocar and utilizes readily available suction capability, ensuring a noiseless and convenient operation. With its built-in fluid trap, any moisture is effectively managed throughout the entire procedure to ensure uninhibited flow. It then prevents filter saturation without compromising the filtration ability.

Model: ASF3

Active Volume Control is connected to the trocar on one side to evacuate smoke created from Laparoscopic surgery and connected to the canister on the other side to create the desired airflow by mounting the volume controller on Active Volume Control

Recommended Use:
When the OR has a laparoscopic surgery insufflator with smoke suction function and/or portable suction that has a volume control system.

  • Attaches trocar on one side
  • Attaches the canister of wall suction on the other side
  • Dial volume controller to adjust airflow
  • ULPA filter integrated
  • Fluid Trap is built in
  • Airflow controller
  • Compatible with all standard luer lock fittings and suction systems
  • 10′ Hose

Model ASFN3

Ideal to use when the OR has a suction unit already but needs filtration and fluid trap additionally. Smoke particles are filtered and moisture is managed through the fluid trap.

Recommended Use:
When the OR has a laparoscopic surgery insufflator with smoke suction function and/or portable suction that has a volume control system.

  • Attach trocar on one side
  • Attach smoke suction
  • No air control dial (Air flow is controlled by suction unit)
  • ULPA filter integrated
  • The fluid trap is built in
  • Compatible with all standard luer lock fittings and smoke suction unit
  • 10′ Hose

Model ASF3

Sterile surgical smoke management tubing that has a built-in fluid trap. One side is connected to a trocar and the other side goes to a smoke evacuator with a filter. It is capable of managing fluid and airflow is controlled by a smoke evacuator during laparoscopic surgery.

Recommended Use:
When OR has an automated smoke evacuator with a filter and does not want to use wall suction.

  • Attach trocar on one side
  • Attach a smoke evacuator which has a filter in it on the other side
  • Fluid Trap is built in.
  • No filtration
  • No air control dial
  • Desired air flow is created by the smoke evacuator
  • 10′ Hose
